The Challenge: Redesigning a Platform for a Demanding Industry

NFT Price Floor is the original gateway to the NFT ecosystem, where you can track and buy digital collectibles and other non-fungible tokens with the best data and marketplace aggregator in the market.


As the only designer on the team, my task wasn’t just to redesign a website but to establish the basis of a design process in a startup that was new to user experience practices. The goal? Take the platform to a more professional level that could attract both users and investors while staying true to its retro charm.

The main goal of the project was to completely redesign the main website to bring it to a new level of professionalism. The approach was clear: create a seamless and appealing user experience to boost site traffic, while also making the platform more attractive to investors.


The information architecture was redesigned to make it more intuitive and the visual interface was updated to give it a modern and coherent look, without losing its retro style. Additionally, we added new features to enhance user engagement.

Discovery Phase: Setting the Bases of UX in a Startup

The first biggest challenge wasn’t just understanding the product: it was navigating a team that had never worked with a UX designer before. My first step was to introduce UX concepts and methods to the team, showing them the value of understanding users through techniques like guerrilla testing. Due to tight deadlines and limited time, we had to rely on this approach, which they had never used before.


We began by collaborating with the product team and stakeholders to identify key areas that needed improvement. Communication became crucial here: I worked closely with them to understand both their vision and their pain points, ensuring that the redesign would not only meet their business goals but also resonate with their users. This wasn’t just about improving the look: it was about crafting an ideal experience that could hold up in the NFT’s world.

Process: Building Structure

The platform’s information architecture was a website that confused users and buried critical features. I restructured the site, making it more intuitive and accessible, ensuring users could find what they needed with minimal effort.


The visual overhaul brought a fresh, modern aesthetic to the site while maintaining its retro roots, balancing familiarity with innovation. But the transformation didn’t stop there: we added new features designed to increase engagement, making it easier for users to track and buy digital collectibles in the NFT world.


I also implemented a design system, which became a pivotal part of the project. Not only did this ensure consistency across the platform, but it also organized the workflow for the developers, allowing for a smoother collaboration between teams and faster execution of updates.

Results: Driving Growth and Gaining Investment

The results were truly impressive. With the new design, site traffic increased as more users were able to navigate the platform easily and discover features they previously overlooked. The improved structure and refreshed visual design didn’t just boost engagement: it also made the platform more attractive to potential investors.


By transforming the user experience, we successfully positioned NFT Price Floor as a professional and reliable player in the NFT ecosystem. The startup’s UX maturity grew significantly, with the introduction of user-centric practices that will continue to influence the team.
